Race Day Information and Schedule
Unless noted below, the Carolina Clash will follow all NASCAR Youth Series and NCQMA rules and regulations. Please review all NASCAR Youth Series and NCQMA rules, regulations and policies, which can be found on NASCARYouth.com and NCQMA.com
Registration fees are $50 per car and can only be completed online.

Late registration: To register after online registration has closed, you must email Stephanie Sullivan (secretary@ncqma.com). Late registrants will start at the tail of their respective heat race(s) and receive no passing points (only points for finishing position). The cost for late registration is $60 per car.
We are only able to accept online payments for late registrations. You will receive instructions for how to pay.
NOTE: There are no refunds for no shows. Refunds are ONLY available if cancellations are made by Wednesday 4/16 at 11:59pm. Please email secretary@ncqma.com
Race Day Format
- Heat race starting positions will be determined by electronic pill draw via MyRacePass scoring software.
- Starting positions in all mains (lowers and A-mains) will be determined by heat race finishing positions and passing points.
- If over 12 cars are registered in a competitive class, lower mains will be run. The top 6 in points from heats will transfer to the A-mains.
- If over 8 cars are registered in rookie classes, lower mains will be run. The top 4 in points from heats will transfer to the A-mains.

- Heat Races will be started on Friday night and will tentatively stop by 8:30pm.
- Mod World will run their A main at or about 8:30pm on Friday night following the completion of the final heat race.
- Schedule is subject to change based on weather and car counts.

Tech Information
- We will follow the 2025 NASCAR Youth Series rulebook for this event.
- Tires will be marked after heat races. Marked tires must be used in A-mains. If running lower mains, any tires may be used. However the marked tires used in heat races MUST be raced in the A-main. No right side tires may be changed during an A-main event unless the tire is damaged or flat due to an incident during the race or warm up.
- Everyone must run A-35 tires.
- Engines will be painted following heat races at the scale house. You are responsible for ensuring your engine is painted.
- Fuel Station – Fuel must be purchased on Thursday 4/17, Friday 4/18 or Saturday 4/19. THe official NCQMA gas station is: Sheetz, 1215 Peeler Road, Salisbury, NC 28146 (Exit 71 off I-85) 87 Octane ONLY
- Raceceiver Channel: 1165
- All drivers and handlers must be a NASCAR Youth Series member to participate in the Carolina Clash. You DO NOT need to be a NCQMA member to participate. If you are not a NASCAR Youth Series member, you will need to complete the membership process prior to sign ins.
Parking
- Parking for non-NCQMA members will begin on Thursday 4/17, time TBD. Further details will be communicated prior to the race weekend. NCQMA members with paid parking spaces may park at any time prior to.
- Please do not park without direction of an NCQMA BOD member or the facility director. A parking map will be released on our Telegram channel closer to the racedate.
Practice Rules
- The track will be closed for practice starting Sunday, April 13th at 5pm and will reopen Friday, April 18th for controlled practice at 9am.
- Friday Practice will be a controlled practice with one (1) 90-second rounds per class.

Race Day Food Options
This year we will have multiple vendors on the grounds both Friday and Saturday. More information will be released closer to the race date.
Other Information
- Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, etc. are not allowed on the track until all racing is completed and tech director has cleared the track. Tech director will make announcement when track is clear.
- Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, etc. are not allowed anywhere inside the fenced in area, including the hot chute, the covered staging area, and any other areas where signs are designated during practice and/or racing. This includes during private practice days.
- No motorized scooters/bikes/hoverboards/carts (2 or 4 wheel) of any kind are permitted on the grounds of NCQMA.
- Anyone riding bicycles, scooters, skateboards, etc. MUST ALWAYS HAVE A HELMET ON, NO EXCEPTIONS. Failure to do so could result in loss of privilege to ride.
