Currently NCQMA allows the use of bikes, scooters, skateboards, Green Machines, etc. We happen to be ahead of the curve on this one. Many QMA tracks don’t allow these things at all. We only restrict them at our large events due to the high number of race cars and people on the grounds. NCQMA is considered to be the fastest growing QMA track in the country with our car count growing each and every week. With that in mind the use of bikes, scooters, skateboards, Green Machines, etc. is becoming a safety issue. Our first priority is to continue to allow these fun things, however, each parent needs to review the safety, rules and restrictions at each event! If we continue to see the disregard of the parameters set forth for scooters, bikes, skateboards, Green Machines, etc. we will have no choice except to ban them all together at every event. NCQMA has modified the rules for scooters, bikes, skateboards, Green Machines, etc. Here’s some info to review with your family. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Helmets are required for anyone on scooters, bikes, skateboards, Heely’s, etc. NO motorized scooters of any kind are permitted on the grounds of NCQMA. NO playing football, etc. or riding bikes, scooters and/or Green Machines inside any of the fenced areas of the speedway. This includes the pit area, the bleacher area, the rest room area, and anywhere along the lanes leading to the tower and rest rooms. NO Green Machines are permitted anywhere in the inner asphalt lanes of the speedway. This is where most people are pitted. All Green Machines can be used along the outer asphalt lanes of the speedway. During any of NCQMA's special events such as the (2) Region 3 Dixie Cup Series & States Race events, and the Carolina Fall Nationals scooters, bikes, Green Machines, skateboards etc. of any kind are not permitted. Failure to comply will result in confiscation of item until event's completion.
